At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
About TEDx Zakynthos
TEDxZakynthos was first organized in 2024 by a dynamic team of volunteers from diverse age groups, professional backgrounds, and fields of expertise, united by a passion for inspiration, knowledge, and innovative thinking. Driven by this shared vision, they brought to life the inaugural TEDxZakynthos under the theme “Cosmos of Light,” creating an event that was warmly embraced by both the local community and its audience.
The success of this first event inspired the team to continue their journey, leading to the organization of the second TEDxZakynthos in 2025 under the theme “Apeiron.” Both events received outstanding feedback from attendees, establishing TEDxZakynthos as a vibrant platform for ideas, dialogue, and inspiration on the island.
Along the way, the bonds among the members of the organizing team grew even stronger. Their ongoing pursuit of meaningful ideas, compelling experiences, and thought-provoking stories worth sharing has naturally led them to the next chapter of TEDxZakynthos. United by an even deeper sense of purpose and connection, they embarked on the organization of TEDxZakynthos 2026.
