Dr. Danae Deligeorges

Psychopedagogue - Advocacy of Rights & Support for Giftedness


Danae Deligeorgi is a psycho-pedagogue, a Doctor at the Medical School of the University of Athens, and a graduate of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences (majoring in Psychology), holding a postgraduate diploma from Northeastern Illinois University (USA) in the education and socio-emotional needs of gifted and talented individuals. She is a certified group counselor for parents of gifted and talented children with the organization SENG (Social and Emotional Needs of the Gifted). In 2008, she founded the Center for Intellectual Development F, where she continues as director and scientific lead. In 2020, she published her first book, “Giftedness: Notes I”.

In 2023, she organized the first experiential global conference on giftedness, the “Gifted World Experience”, with a focus on international participation and promoting an inclusive approach. The GWE organization supports the rights of all neurodiverse individuals and minority groups.

Dr. Deligeorgi makes weekly appearances on ERT to inform and raise public awareness on mental health issues.
